Omg this place is real!? I need to go there 😍

Stupid Windows got an update and now I have to reinstall it because they obviously are idiots that no longer know how to do their job well. I think it’s time to change for Linux.
Anyway here’s my headcanon of Dean and Gabriel bonding over Dr. Sexy MD

-Dean?
-Hm?
-Hasn’t Gabriel been popping around you way too much these days?
-Yeah, it’s kind of weird. I asked him about that the other day. -Sam choked on his apple juice but recovered fast.
-What did he say?
-That he does it ‘cause he likes me.
-And?
-Well, as long as he doesn’t meddle with our hunts and stuff I guess it’s alright.
Sam couldn’t believe it, the archangel had been quite straightforward about it and yet his brother had only taken it as a statement of friendship.
-Why? What’s up with the face?
-I don’t… I mean, don’t get me wrong but it took you a lot to get used to Cas being near you and now you allow Gabriel to even sit on your lap without a flinch.
Dean pondered Sam’s inquiry for a moment. -Well yeah, but Cas is Cas and Gabe is Gabe. I mean, it’s kind of expected for him to act like that. And he’s an idiot most times but for some reason I can stand those quirks without a problem.
Sam’s brain was flashing with red alert lights everywhere. He didn’t realize how it happened but it was obvious Dean didn’t consider Gabriel a danger. Still, why was he so worried about it? Dean was straight, there was no way for him to be attracted to Gabriel.
He suddenly became more worried about himself, why would Dean having a significant other be such an issue now? Back in the days he had been with Lisa he never felt like his brother needed to be protected. Granted, he didn’t feel anything since he was soulless but still…
-Sam?
-Huh?
-You alright man? You’re spaced out.
-Uh… yeah, yeah I am. I just didn’t sleep well enough. -Dean gave him the worried older brother look. -I’m fine. For real.
Castiel looked at Sam who for the eleventh time had to go three pages back into the book he was reading because he was obviously not focused on it. Dean had gone out with Gabriel again and he wasn’t sure at what time they would show up again, last time Gabriel accompanied him ‘to get supplies’ Dean had called half a day later to say they somehow ended in the middle of New Orleans’ Mardi-Gras.
He sat by the hunter’s side on the armrest to read a paragraph from the book. It took the seraph just an instant to recall the information from the books Metatron had stashed on his brain years ago. It was ‘The Name of the Rose’. -I like that book. – Was his simple comment.
Sam, who was obviously in another realm jumped when he heard Cas so near. -Wha…? Cas? I’m sorry, what?
Castiel squinted his eyes. -What’s wrong Sam?
-I… uh… I don’t know Cas. I honestly don’t know. -the hunter sighed moodily- Did you know Gabriel likes Dean? Like, as in wanting to be more than friends?
-It’s hard for anyone not to notice, he donnes your brother with a lot of attention. Why?
-Well, what do you think about it?
-I think that knowing my brother, Dean’s already in for the ride whether he likes it or not.
Sam’s spirits fell a lot more, to be honest he kind of hoped Cas to be more antagonizing about the idea. If push came to shove, he’d feel a lot better if it was Cas the one that wanted to be near Dean like that, weird as it seemed right now. I mean the profound bond thing was still a thing, right?
-Don’t worry Sam, my brother would never hurt Dean in any way.
Usually, Sam used to be the hugger but he felt infinitely reassured when Cas placed his hand over his shoulder in a loose embrace. Damn the angel, he certainly knew how to read him well.
-Yeah it’s not just that. It’s… I don’t even know what is. I mean, Dean’s not even into guys.
-Angels are primarily asexual, we don’t need to intercourse in order to show our love. Gabriel would never force himself on your brother.
Sam’s face went three shades of red, Cas was still dense at the worst places and times and now he definitely was having a hard time trying not to imagine his brother entangled with the archangel. His hand over his face.
-Yeah, uh, thanks for the reassurance Cas.
A soft but glowing smile seized the angel’s face -I’m glad I’ve helped. -He stood up and walked away up to the library entrance. -Sam? – the hunter turned his gaze up to him. -You know I can be there for you anytime, right? I also love you after all.
Sam was unable to even provide an answer to that, Cas was already on his way to who knows where (probably watch some Netflix) and his brain had been in overdrive for a while. It was love as in, like a brother, right? Yeah, it probably was. It definitely was. Because the fact that Gabriel actually liked his brother didn’t mean that Cas would automatically like him in the same ‘as a couple’ kind of way. I mean, come on Sam, you’re just beating around the bush way too much.
He passed his hands through his hair hunched over the couch. He was royally screwed.

Today was one of the few lazy Sunday kind of days the guys got and Dean was not ready to let go of it so easily.
-I’m sorry dude, I’m not changing this robe and leaving home for anything in the world.
To be honest, it was remarkable that Gabriel had actually poofed up to ask him out for the day, apparently the last time he told him off for angelically getting him in a rodeo had sunk in.
-Aw come on Bean! This time we’re gonna have fun!
-Last time you said that I ended up tied up to a middle ages torture device so no thanks.
-But it was still a lot of fun. -he wiggled his eyebrows at him.
-Maybe for you and your fairy friends.
-Seriously!? There’s nothing exciting inside this box of concrete!
-Exactly. I don’t want exciting today. I want to hoard the couch, grab a ton of snacks and only stand up to go take a crap. But hey, don’t mind me, you can go out wherever you want by yourself.
Dean went away to the kitchen to grab his supply of beer and chips for the day while Gabriel hung his shoulders down to accompany his sigh of dejection. -Fiiine. I’ll stay here then.
Sam was looking at the interaction in amusement from his chair. -Why are you so eager on taking my brother anyways? You can conjure up anyone else with a snap.
-It’s just not the same Samsquatch. -He had taken his place by Dean’s spot on the couch while appearing a milkshake. -And I happen to like your brother. He’s different; he fights with me, he makes me think and he still gets me, you know? Kind of hard to meet when you’ve existed since almost the start of creation. By the way, you don’t really mind me becoming your brother in law, right?
A sound of bemused incredulity came out of the younger Winchester -Sure, if that ever gets to happen. You might want to remember that he’s not into dudes.
-Well, I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.
Sam didn’t say anything else since Dean came back to the room, but he couldn’t help feeling a bit unsettled when Gabriel throwed his legs on the hunter’s lap and Dean only reacted by groaning softly and moving his bowl of chips to a safer position.
-By the way, I don’t really mind you dating my little brother if you ever consider him as a choice.
-DUDE! -Was the Winchesters unison reaction towards Gabriel’s chuckles.

“Look. Everything in here can kill you. I can just do it more efficiently”
Enjoy.
It was a very upsetting thing to feel how slowly but surely the skin around your ankle was bloating up with the blood that was unable to find release compacted between the layers of sock in your boots but a sprained ankle was the least of your worries right now. You were not sure at which moment you had crossed into the Twilight Zone because the things that had been following you all the way to an abandoned warehouse at the edge of the swamp after dealing with your friends were definitely not normal. Despite this, you were stubborn as hell that no matter what, you were going to make it to the next day.
The damp weather of Louisiana had taken its toll on the old building, water dripping through countless holes made you wonder just exactly how much the ceiling would resist.
It had been Jane’s idea to go into the swamp with a rented boat and try finding some stupid ass treasure. Like any pirate with the decency of being called a pirate would have actually hidden anything on those godforsaken waters instead of spilling it on booze and hookers like there was no tomorrow. Still you obliged when the party of ten had formed and waited for you to agree to the adventure.
After that, things had gone haywire. The boat’s motor got dirty with mud and you had been stuck for hours, by the moment it was clean the night had already arrived. None of your gps worked and you got completely lost when coming back. By the moment you were able to see a road and realized you had gone inland there was not enough gasoline to go back from where you came from and walking it was.
There was no one left from those ten people that had been there with you not even 24 hours ago.
Silent tears and sniffs were muffled by the pouring rain outside. You were angry, scared yes, but incredibly resentful against whatever it was that killed your friends. You wanted them to pay back for what they did. You knew you had a lead against those things, you kept on running after they jumped over the remaining two people of your party and managed to lock yourself in the building’s security cabin located a couple steps above the rest of the floor. You would be able to see them coming. You searched around and found an iron bar and a gun with a half full magazine. Well, you had started with worse on Left 4 Dead, you joked to yourself.
The full moon light started to come inside from the opening door. But it wasn’t the beasts. The silhouette of a huge broad and tall man was casting its shadow into the place. He looked around, obviously searching for something. You left your iron bar on the cabin’s aluminum floor with a clunk to see him better and the blood in your veins froze. It couldn’t be, there was too much noise outside and yet he was looking directly at your spot as if he had heard the sound of metal against metal.
He closed the door back and started to pace towards your hiding place.
Frantically, you cornered yourself as far away from the cabin’s door in the secluded space, gun in hand. You were certain you would have killed him in an instant but the closer he got the more you doubted. It wasn’t only that he was huge compared to everyone else you had ever met, it was also the fact that he was imposing in another more primal level. He was wearing a dark coat and a newsboy cap that covered his eyes completely within the lack of light, his short trimmed beard framing his face in a way that made you want to caress it instead of sending it away. The man opened the small cabin door, entered and closed it behind.
-You got real trouble out there poppet. A pack of three loup-garous is nothing you’ll get to outdo with just that. -He motioned to the gun.
You had been too caught up with the appearance of this man that it took you a whole minute to process what he had said. Your first reaction was to snicker.
-A… a loup-garou? Is that even…? Those things are not… They can’t… – It was hard, you were desperately trying to avoid the truth but deep within you knew that was not possible anymore.
-Now, I’m not much into getting involved with strangers either, but they’re making a fuss at my territory and I can’t let that happen. I like to be at peace in here.
His territory? That had definitely sobered you up and you were now pointing your gun directly at his face.
-What are you?
-Right now, I’m the closest thing to a friend you’ll get.
In all fairness, the Cajun accent would have been all you would have needed to say yes had it been any other kind of situation. The sound of the entrance door being smashed brought you back to your current setting. You could hear the sounds of the monsters coming inside.
–Look, everything in here can kill you. I can just do it more efficiently. Or less painfully. Whichever way you see it, you need help to get out of this.
You nodded. -Ok, what do I do?
The man opened the cabin door and jumped to get at ground with the werewolf like creatures. They snarled at him but kept a distance. He also growled at them. It was like they were both connected at a very basic level and fighting for dominance.
The loup-garou closer to the man threw itself towards him to start the brawl. It tried to grab his shoulder with his fangs but he had been faster and threw it aside while the second beast already started its leap. The third was about to jump in, taking vantage of being at the man’s back when you pierced it’s hip with a gunshot. Startled, the third beast yelped and fell down. The man had the second beast now on the floor and made a swift move with a machete that he apparently had below his coat. It’s head rolled through the floor, leaving a trail of watered down blood on the floor. He made a move towards the beast that you helped go limp.
A lightning helped you catch the movements of the first loup-garou. It was coming at you in a rush. Before you could even think about it you had missed two shots on the monster but managed to land a third one on its front leg. That helped to slow him down enough for placing another shot. You did your best and aimed for the head. Two shots, the last ones. The animal fell.
And it began to move once more.
You couldn’t believe your eyes, you were reeking fear and crying madly but still went for the iron bar and waited for the thing to get close to you. Right when it’s massive head was trespassing the cabin door, he was yanked back by the man and thrown back into the ground. It was still startled from the gunshots so it became easier for the man to best it and decapitate it just like the other two.
You left out a sigh of relief entwined with laughter and tears in your eyes. You had won. Those things were down and you were still alive. Now that things were calm the man helped you out of the cabin and carried you all the way to his truck when he noticed your sprain. His caravan was relatively close, fifteen minutes away he said. After you took a quick bath and were provided a huge shirt and pants to use provisionally, you finally were able to settle up some of your thoughts and speak properly.
-Thanks, uhm…
-Benny, you can call me Benny
-Thanks Benny. I owe you my life.
The man chuckled.
-You owe me nothing darling, it was a team effort back there.
He was taking care of your ankle, it was a simple thing but you were grateful for his kindness. No matter what thing he was, he was the reason you were still alive.
-You are very cold, you should take a bath as well.
He chuckled once more -I’m always cold. I’m already dead. -He turned his beautiful blue eyes that had been hidden until now towards you with a soft smile.
You froze for a second. There was only one thing, one monster you could think of that could be already dead and yet be walking around completely conscious of itself. Your heart started to beat at 100 mph.
-Are you… a vampire?
It should be a crime that such a creature could be this captivating. He beamed at you in acknowledgement.
-You’re… not going to feed on me, are you?
-Well that depends, are you AB-? -He jested with a wink.

Chapter 13×21 just came out yesterday. I cannot stress how delighted I was to know Gabriel had shut himself up in Dean’s room.

Gabriel knew it was the chance of a lifetime to be allowed into Dean’s room instead of barging in. Not that he had not tried before but the hunter had been smart and stopped him every time. Granted it had not been Dean’s idea to let him in but after Castiel gave him the green light it was pretty much as if Dean had agreed to it, right? Right.
First things first he took all the grace he could without impairing himself, which was not much but the spell only said it required grace, it never said how much so this should be enough he convinced himself.
Then he turned around to see the layout of the bedroom and rubbed his palms together.
-Now, if I were Dean, where would I place my porn?
He went directly to the side table by the bed, only his hunter’s old journal, a pen and a couple of random papers and a notebook visible on the top drawer. He started to take everything out, he didn’t know what he was looking for but he knew he was close to something and then at the furthest corner he saw a glimpse of shiny silver metal that was undeniably better than gold.
He reached for the cold cylindrical object and after he had it within his grasp, he sensed around for something else, knowing it had to be there too. Surely, his fingers suddenly bumped into a soft yet firm object, he retrieved both pieces and after studying the distinct shape of the black latex ring that enticed his own ideas, Gabriel finally decided to put that back in place along with everything else.
He pocketed the bullet in the zippered pocket of his jeans and began to scheme how to break the news on Dean that he would have to work hard for the archangel if he wanted to have his vibrator back.
He hoped it would involve a lot of fun stuff.
Cas, the Sass.

Sam was hunched over some odd runes that he couldn’t understand. It had already been eight hours since he last stood up for anything.
-Sam, you should get some rest and something to eat.
The hunter tiredly passed his fingers over his eyes. -I know, I know, just… Just this page and…- Castiel unceremoniously closed the book he had been checking.
-Now.
Sam considered for a second to argue with the angel but he already knew better and made way to the kitchen.
-Well look at that, who’d know you like to babysit Sammich.
-Hello, brother.
-Have you ever thought about helping him get dressed for bed too? Passing your hand through his hair until he falls asleep?
Castiel just squinted his eyes a little while tilting his head. -I’m pretty sure Sam wouldn’t appreciate being treated like a toddler.
Gabriel lifted his hands up to the sky with a groan. -Seriously? You don’t even get I’m trying to tease you? Like, actually implying that you like the guy? How dense can you actually get to be Castiel?
-Well, I do like Sam, I wouldn’t care so much about him if I didn’t.
-That’s not the same kind of liking I’m talking about! I’m talking about smooching and christening furniture all around the house as loud as you can!
-You mean like what you’d like to do with Dean?
-Exactly! Just like…- Gabriel suddenly stopped and glared at Castiel who was sporting a smug smile. -You!
Maybe it’s too early to ask but

Gabriel sighs could be heard all the way from the kitchen to the library. He had been like that all the morning after Sam and Dean left for a quick hunt a couple states away and Castiel couldn’t take it anymore.
-Brother.
-*sigh* ‘Sup bro.
-What’s wrong?
-I’m screwed Cas. That’s what’s wrong. -The angel’s tilt of his head was all Gabe was going to get as a form of inquiry. -I kissed Dean and left some of my grace on him, now I can’t stop wanting to get close to him again.
Cas went blank for a second while looking at his brother gobbling a whole cake with ice-cream, there were a ton of questions forming on his head in a flash. Gabriel and Dean kissed? When had they kissed? How did Gabriel even manage to convince Dean on kissing him? Because he had done it willingly, right? …RIGHT? But maybe the most important thing at the moment was:
-You left part of your grace on him!? -Dejected sigh as answer -How?
-I… I just wanted to feel him and I ended up touching him with it. I didn’t notice until a lot later because it had been such a little bit but Dean felt something was odd and I… I couldn’t tell him about my mistake when I realized it.
Cas was abashed. He knew his brother could seem bold but he’d proven more than enough times how cunning he actually was, being able to fool even The Devil himself. The simple fact that he had let his guard down like that only meant that either he had been extremely drunk or extremely smitten by the hunter, in this case probably both.
-You have to retrieve it.
-No shit Sherlock like I don’t know! But try to go convincing Dean of sharing another kiss!
-How did you convince him of getting the first one?
Gabriel squirmed uncomfortably on his chair. -Let’s just say I don’t think the same trick will work again.
Castiel only nodded. -I’ll see what I can do to help you. -Gabriel turned to his brother with hope brimming on his eyes. -Thanks Cas. Ice cream?
Three days later Castiel took a hold of the hunter right after they parked Baby and dragged him out of both of their brother’s ears reach before he began to expose the issue at hand.
Some time after that, Dean finally found Gabriel holed up in his mancave watching Netflix. He shut the door close just to make sure Sam didn’t see something from the hallway in the least convenient moment. He sat by Gabriel’s side and eyed the show.
-Gravity Falls?
-Reality is an illusion.
-The universe is a hologram.
A silent understanding flashed between their eyes before Gabriel turned his gaze back to the screen. He was clearly uncomfortable now that the silence had settled back. Dean sighed loudly.
-So you didn’t do anything to me that night, huh?
Dang it, Gabriel knew he had asked Cas for help but he’d be damned if he didn’t want to snap the seraph into a thousand feathers right now.
-In my defense, it was never on purpose.
-Yeah, I could get that much. -Both shifted a little. -So all you need to do is get your bit of grace back, right?
-Right.
-Okay then.
Gabriel turned to look at him clearly shocked. Okay? He didn’t know what his brother had told Dean but he was pretty sure he hadn’t left aside the most important part of the issue.
-You realize we have to kiss again, right?
The elephant in the room had finally been addressed. Dean was not entirely comfortable with the idea but this was nothing compared to what he had to put up with at some hunts. He gathered himself and leaned over Gabriel.
-Well then, I hope you better enjoy it.
