It all started two days ago when Jack, left behind on a hunt, had disappeared from the Winchester’s eyes only to show up a couple of hours later without saying a thing of where he had been.

Dean, bless his soul, was the first one to suspect something was odd; having been the one to deal with Sam’s tendency to take care of lost pets, hiding them from his father’s strict sight ever since childhood. He even felt warm inside remembering those simpler days when he finally spotted the young nephilim looking around towards the hallway before stepping out of his room the dawning of the third day.

“Jack!”

The kid jumped startled while locking his room but managed to turn towards Dean in a nonchalant way with a wide smile.

“Good morning Dean, how are you today?”

“Never better kid. Never better.”

“Good.”

An awkward moment of silence spread itself over the two that was eventually broken by Dean, who cleared his throat.

“So, how are you?”

“I’m good. Thank you for asking.” Smile.

“Really..?” Jack doubted for a second when Dean used his inquisitive tone. “Because you see, you’re acting strange.”

“…I am? Not! Not at all! I am being normal. Perfectly normal.”

“I see… Well, let’s hit the kitchen then, those pancakes ain’t gonna cook themselves up anytime soon.” He said with a broad smile, surrounding the nephilim with his arm and pulling him away from his door, sensing a stiffness on his stance that was quite telling.

Later on the evening, he clearly heard Sam all the way from the kitchen while he was chilling on his laptop at the main room oval table.

“Jack? What are you taking all that meat for?”

“I… am hungry” Dean could swear he could see Jack’s wide smile after his matter-of-fact statement.

“Oh, it’s ok, it’s just uh… Do you know how to cook it?”

“Oh I was going to take it raw.”

Odd silence.

“Jack, you do realize you need to cook the meat if you want to eat it, right?”

That was Dean’s cue.

“Hey Sammy! Come on over fast!” He belted out loud enough for Sam to rush where he was, leaving Jack unattended.

“What? What is it!?”

“Oh, nothing man, I just wanted to show you this video. It’s funny as hell” Sam sent Dean a bitchface before turning around on his heel and leaving.

Soon enough Dean heard Sam’s footsteps bringing him back from the kitchen. He didn’t need his brother to say anything to know by his face he was going to be consulted about something.

“Yeah? Wassup?”

“Uhm, Jack fled with all the raw meat”

“I knew it!” A shit eating grin plastered his face while he stood up in victory. Sam only looked at him questioningly.

“That kid will have wished to ask me for permission after I’m done with him. Come along Sammy, and don’t make any noise.”

Slow but surely, the Winchesters made their way to Jack’s door. The more they approached, the clearer they could hear some sort of animal grunts.

“Stop, stop! You’ll choke if you eat that fast! Come on, calm down. I promised you I’d feed you, you don’t have to glomp everything.” The animal noises became calmer. “That’s it, good! You’re a good girl!” sounds of petting, grunt noises of happy approval. Sam didn’t need to hear more to realize the situation they were in and was sure his brother would scream at Jack about being an irresponsible brat until his ear fell off.

“Dean…” Was all he could faintly let out with a hint of begging in his voice. Please don’t scorn the kid was all he was asking for in that single syllable. But his brother turned to him with a steeled eye that told him he could as well give up at that exact moment. He wasn’t going to change his mind.

Their silent conversation was cut off when they clearly heard a short exclamation followed by laughter and the sound of the animal’s claws scratching the concrete floor. Dean didn’t know what kind of dog Jack had brought into the bunker but it sure sounded massive.

“Hahaha! Stop! Don’t… don’t lick me! Ew! Gross! Stop!” More laughter and the sound of frantic paws scurrying at one spot in a clear sign of friendly struggle.

Meanwhile, like a well trained swat team, Sam and Dean placed themselves in front of the door and opened it with a slam.

And they freezed.

Dean had been quite sure about what kind of words he was going to start his righteous speech until he saw Jack plastered on the floor struggling against the animal with his hands, a bit aback that they had found him like that but still with a smile as bright as the sun.

“D…Dean! Sam! Uh…” Was all he could say before a well placed licking made the kid do awkward faces full of gross. “Ew! Uh, uhm I know I should’ve asked before but she was looking so sad and lonely and she didn’t have an owner and… and…” He hugged her in a would be protective way “C—can we keep her?”

Sam on the other hand could understand why his brother had gone hermetically pale and silent. The problem he faced now was not only about Dean telling Jack off for bringing in a dog, because if his brother ever got his words back, things were going to be far worse considering the kid had brought one in that was completely and utterly invisible.

-Hello, Sam.

Sam went in awe realizing he was looking at an angel, a real angel, with a capital ‘A’, and started to ramble.

-Oh my God. Er… uh, I didn’t mean to… sorry. -chuckles- It’s an honor, really, I… I’ve heard a lot about you.

He stepped forward holding out his hand to shake Castiel’s but the angel just looked down at it, unsure of what to do with it. Sam motioned at Castiel, who finally understood and placed his right hand out to shake it with Sam.

-And I, you. Sam Winchester – Holding Sam’s hand between his own, Castiel turned his electric royal blue gaze directly into the hunter’s eyes, piercing him mercilessly. – The boy with the demon blood. Glad to see you’ve ceased your extracurricular activities.

It should be a sin that an Angel of the Lord would be able to spit so much venom so easily looking like that.

Sam woke up with a start. The alarm clock hadn’t gone off yet and he could have a good two hours more sleep if he made an effort to go back to slumberland. He moved sideways with a groan into a sitting position, looking for his slippers. After warding himself from the cold of the concrete floor he stepped up in search of his boxers at the foot of the bed and made way for the bathroom. Eyes as close as possible on the way there, afraid of scaring the sleep away.

When he opened the bathroom door to go back to his room he glanced Castiel in front of the door about to knock.

-Cas?

If he didn’t know better, he could have sworn he had startled his angelical friend. Castiel met Sam’s sight in a jolt.

-What are you doing here?

-I heard noises…

-…Is that it?

Castiel shuffled on his spot. It was odd looking at him act so meek, he always used to take the lead. Eventually, he managed to gather himself and spurted out -I thought you had called to me. I’m sorry. It must have been a mistake.

It took Sam more than a second to process the information Cas was giving him but when he understood what he was saying he blushed, remembering vividly his own dream about the first time he had met the angel.

-Maybe I was.

Castiel frowned his gaze and turned his neck in that quintessential Castiel way that said he needed more information that Sam couldn’t but smile at him. -I was dreaming about you.

Castiel opened his sight in understanding. -Oh

Sam started to walk towards his room, pulling Castiel’s hem slightly with his fingers, making him follow by his side. Hands slightly brushing each other -I dreamt about the first time I met you.

Cas turned so fast to look at him that a normal human being would have gotten dizzy. -Why?

-Who knows? It’s not like I can purposefully choose the programmation.

They arrived to Sam’s door. -Well, I’m gonna beat it a bit more. See you in a few.

Castiel only nodded at him. The same piercing blue that captivated him once saying good night without even letting out a word.

Sam couldn’t go back to sleep at all. He was thinking of Castiel over and over again. He had made the mistake of glancing at his friend’s lips before going back into his room and with how things had gone with Gabriel the evening before Sam couldn’t stop thinking about the seraph’s brilliant blue eyes looking up at him, his mouth surrounding his dick, pleasuring him.

It had been years since he had last done it and he felt a slight pang of guilt to bring Cas back into his repertoire of fantasies but in the end his impulse won and he began to jack himself off to the image of his friend that had relentlessly formed on his mind.

Castiel, on the other side, slowly redid his way to his bedroom but the idea of Sam dreaming about their meeting had removed something inside. Something he had completely forgotten up until that moment.

Now that he got what the phrase ‘First impressions are always important’ actually meant he finally understood perfectly well why he had never had the gut to tell Sam that what he felt for him was probably stronger than what he felt for his brother. Because thanks to both of them he had been able to see what a good person is supposed to be, how doing the right thing was supposed to work, what thinking about your loved ones was supposed to feel. But it was only thanks to Sam that he discovered how pure a soul could be and no matter what dire their destiny, it was able to overcome even the darkest of evils.

And meanwhile he, Castiel, had been an absolute dick towards him that very first time. Even when he now would recognize Sam’s excited face at a glance he couldn’t have back then and his words had evidently hurt him. At that instant he hated himself.

-You look like you could do with a good pair of twins in lingerie.

-Brother

Gabriel smiled, to everyone else he would have sneered at the word, specially to Michael, Raphael or Lucifer. But Castiel made the word so meaningful everytime he said it that it honestly made Gabriel glad to know he still considered him his brother, specially despite the Archangel title that once held so heavy over him. He loved his brother in a way he thought had been lost aeons ago before Lucifer’s fall.

Gabriel went to surround Castiel’s shoulder’s. -Alright, I’m not usually into corny stuff but tell your big brother all about it. I’ll listen to you. Just don’t make it as a prayer because that would piss me off.

Castiel smirked at the archangel and joined his hands in a praying manner. -Dear Gabriel, who is currently not in Heaven…

Gabriel stopped Cas’ mock softly with his free fist over his arm. A spark of laughter came on both mens eyes, tuning their grace into a joyful warmth that none of them had realized had been missing in a long, long time.

Gabriel pulled Sam down to his height with one hand on the lower part of his neck and the other grabbing his plaid shirt tight. Sam got a knot in his stomach feeling the strength the archangel held, it was easy to forget what he really was with how he moved so much like any other human being.

Truth is, no matter how many times he had thought about making out with Gabriel the library had never been one of the planned scenarios, particularly after they had found him with Rowena last time. Sam used to tell to himself there was not a chance he would allow for it to happen in the same place for his own pride.

And yet here he was, starting to surround him, treading his fingers lightly along his sides, testing the waters as to how far he was allowed to go. Since the archangel wasn’t doing anything against it he went all the way and surrounded him completely.

Gabriel had never planned of doing this at all but glancing at Dean get the seraph into his bedroom in such an intimate way from the other side of the hall some hours ago had shaken certain emotions that he was definitely not ready to acknowledge. Emotions that began to brew months ago, as soon as he started to tag Dean along. Realizing how odd it was that they actually got to understand each other so well and laugh so much together.

After the hallway scene he had left in search of a bar but dealing with strangers only worsened his mood. A couple of hours later he had come back more frustrated than before, driving himself to a point where he desperately needed to let some steam off and right now the only thing he was certain about was that Sam would be more than willing to oblige if he asked.

Sam felt how the archangel was looking for something in his lips, he had pressed them first nimbly, feeling their softness, and forced his way into Sam’s mouth without remorse. There was this desperation on the archangel testing him that Sam suddenly felt the urge of separating himself from him.

-Wait. -Gabriel complied with a small note of annoyance in his breath and looked at him questioningly. -Are you… are you ok?

Gabriel smiled softly. -Why are you asking me that?

Sam frowned, the smile in Gabriel’s lips did nothing to undermine the cold gaze that his eyes were showing. Soft footsteps approached them from the hallway and Dean entered the room to the scene of his brother and the archangel holding each other and only cleared his throat.

-’Sup Dean-o. Care to join the fun?

If Sam hadn’t been the one involved in the Trickster’s jester he might have found his brother’s reaction funny. Dean’s eyes darted between him and Gabriel, desperate to say something to Gabriel but something inside him gathered him up. The next moment, Dean awkwardly made way away from the place letting out a faint “Have Fun” and disappeared as fast as he could without even trying to meet their eyes.

Sam wasn’t stupid, Gabriel’s tinge of defeat on his expression told him that he should be bothered about this interaction but he had been infatuated with him for so long that he thought he would be able to overlook it all and keep on going.

When Gabriel turned his attention back towards Sam and invited him to a more private venue, Sam just held Gabriel’s hand and guided him towards his bedroom. Without a glimpse of Dean nor Cas anywhere on their way.

They didn’t even bother to turn the lights on once the door was locked behind. Sam allowed himself to be pulled towards the bed by Gabriel, who sat him at the edge and straddled him. Both men began to get rid of their shirts while sharing quick and needy kisses. Once Gabriel undid his belt and zipper Sam quickly turned him over the bed to pull everything away from him, only stopped by his shoes. Huffing a bit upset about the inconvenience, Gabriel snapped them away, along with Sam’s, just to make things quicker. Sam laughed a little about this while getting rid of his own jeans and got into the bed to top Gabriel.

Gabriel suddenly made a move too fast for the hunter and threw him against the mattress, straddling him. -Sorry Kiddo, my rodeo tonight.

Sitting over Sam’s hips at the right place to line up their cocks, Gabriel conjured up some lube and worked them together at a soft pace with his hands, up and down through all their lengths making Sam breathe deep and lie down, taking in the feel of the archangel’s length pressing against his own and the way his fingers firmly stimulated his shaft going up and down and around the head. Gabriel bit his lower lip while his pupils dilated, he expected Sam to be a good size but he had exceeded his expectations.

-Well Sammy Boy, you’ll be glad to know I’m definitely going down on you tonight.

The archangel’s voice had been deeper and rougher than the hunter had ever heard, sending a shrill down his spine. Gabriel noticed how hard Sam had gone from his words and smirked. He moved himself to the side and used one of his hands to keep Sam’s cock straight up and bent over it. He started by licking the head and pressing his tongue around the tip. Slowly, he spread his tongue around the entire head and eventually closed his lips around it. Sam only left out a sigh of bliss, he would have never been able to imagine just how good the real thing would have been. Gabriel was torturing him by working slowly down to the base of his cock, moment at which he began to suck smoothly but hard enough for Sam to feel the vacuum pull the blood to the top of his dick.

Sam was already starting to sweat, head bent back and eyes tightly shut. One of his hands caressing the archangel’s head, intermingling his fingers in his hair while the other went to explore his back, his arms, his neck. Pretty much any and every part of Gabriel he could reach and touch.

Gabriel was desperate to just enjoy the moment, letting go of anything holding him onto reality. Nothing else mattered while he focused on the hunter’s thick hard dick, going up and down, surrounding him with his tongue and feeling the veins that popped up from the sides with his tongue. His fingers pulling the skin that joined his dick with his balls softly before surrounding them with his palm, extending two of his fingers downwards to playfully tease his ass. The other hand travelling along the firm muscles of his stomach and chest.

He was so into it that he was startled when the hunter’s hips relented their inert position and went upwards to meet the archangel’s throat that in turn was forced downwards by Sam’s hand over his head. Gabriel let out a groan that apparently made Sam go back to reality and stuttered a hushed “Shit, Gabe, I’m sorry”.

The archangel only answered back by thrusting himself fast once more into Sam. He paced up his movements, feeling Sam’s hands grasp desperately on his head and listening to his increased respiration as cue to how much he was able to take. The moment he heard him falter he pressed all the way downwards while inserting a finger into his ass to press his prostate. Listening to Sam moan loudly while his dick filled his throat and mouth with cum was satisfying enough.

He went up to sit by the hunter’s spent body, waiting for him to regain some sort of composure. He smirked a little thinking that if this had been a French film he would have to be smoking a cigarette by now and for some reason wondered if Dean would actually mind him doing that. Sam, who was surrounded by a fair amount of darkness, only caught glance of the archangel’s silhouette and was unable to see the bitterness that came unto his face.

-Well, that was… awesome.

Gabriel just snorted amusedly. -I do hold my standards high.

The silence that followed, cut only by Sam’s recovering breath into calmness began to stir the archangel into movement. -Welp, see ya tomorrow Kiddo.

-Huh?

-What?

-I just… Uh, nothing.

-Look Sammy, you can fool your brother but I can tell you haven’t slept well these past days, get some rest now that your body’s relaxed.

Sam looked directly at the place he believed Gabriel’s eyes lied in the middle of the darkness. True, he had been having nightmares, it fortunately happened less since Lucifer had died but they still periodically came to wake him up for some days before leaving a couple of months. Still, that was not what nagged him. He had just hoped Gabriel stayed with him for the night. But that was too much to ask from something that obviously started as a booty call of sorts in the middle of the library.

-Right… Good night.

-Toodles.

Even when it didn’t take long for Sam to drift off, Gabriel vanished from the room long before he was completely out. Leaving him with a sense of loneliness he had forgotten he could feel.

Sam was contentedly humming the following day, giving a bite to a delicious chicken sandwich sided with arugula salad when Dean came into the room. There was a serving of pancakes sided with bacon and sausages for him.

-Mornin’

-Hmmrnin’

He had to wait until Dean had gone through half of his breakfast before he could ask.

-…You still angry about yesterday?

Dean sent a quick glance to his brother.

-Nah, I’m good.

-You sure about that?

-Yup

-…

Dean didn’t last much under Sam’s pressure.

-Alright man knock it off it’s all good. I mean, I really was angry yesterday but you’re back now.

Sam sighed -Well that’s good because today I’m going out with Gabriel again.

-What!? -Using a harsher tone than what he intended, Dean realized his mistake and held his head down in defeat. Sam on the other side looked at him with a knowing look.. -Ok, yeah, I’m… I’m still angry.

-Why is that so hard to admit?

Dean pondered for just a second but then straightened himself a bit more.

-Because I don’t want you to get hurt.

Sam chuckled -Why do you think I’d get hurt?

Dean glanced his brother significantly. ‘Please don’t make me say it’ was what his expression asked of him. Sam studied him for a second and then it hit him. His eyes dilated and he blushed wildly while turning away from his brother’s sight. A minute later he looked back defensively.

-Just so you know, I know he took me out as a gesture of appreciation for letting him stay around. There’s nothing more about it.

Dean shrugged slightly. -Well, I guess it’s ok then.

The rest of the day went as normal as it could get. Sam had gone out a few hours ago, probably coming back a couple more hours later and Dean was on the way back to his bedroom with another beer when he met Castiel, coming forward from Sam’s bedroom. With a casual ‘Sup Cas, busy right now?’ he surrounded the seraph’s shoulder and swiftly guided him to his bedroom.

Castiel knew Dean, he noticed something was bothering him so he followed his friend’s lead. He only squinted his eyes when Dean looked around the hall before locking the door behind. Once secure inside, the hunter began to pace around for a good five minutes lost in his thoughts.

-Dean?

-You haven’t seen your brother around, right?

-Not today, why?

-Do you know what’s up with him taking Sam out?

-I think it’s a good thing he did, Sam looked very happy about that.

-Yeah well, there’s no way he shouldn’t but that’s the problem, I’m afraid your brother plays with him.

-What do you mean?

Dean stopped for a second his rant, Castiel could see him weighing down pros and cons of telling him anything at all. It was odd of him to be so secretive after all these years. He sighed in the end.

-I just want Sammy to be happy.

-But he looks happy.

-No you don’t understand -Dean sat by Castiel’s side -He might be happy now but I know my brother, he needs someone stable and Gabriel he, well, he doesn’t seem to be too reliable on his actions on the long run if you get my drift.

Castiel immediately frowned his face. -But Gabriel wouldn’t… he wouldn’t do any harm to Sam.

-Well it’s good you think so well of him but dammit Cas, he’s gonna take the first chance he can to get in Sam’ pants and I’m not gonna wait idly for him to do that you know? Cas? Wait a second, sit back down I need your help with this, we have to make your brother be a good guy for Sam.

Castiel turned back to Dean -Why?

-Because he… uh…

-He what?

-He might be the only one my brother really wants.

Cas looked completely taken aback for a second, Dean had never seen the angel like that before. -Dean, you cannot change people from one day to another. And I’m not changing Gabriel to have him stay by Sam’s side!

He stepped out of the room towards his own before the hunter even had a chance of stopping him.

Gabriel entered the darkened library dragging his feet, chocolate bar in hand. Only a lamp providing light over a couple of books on the table.

-Hey

-Sammich

-Have you seen Cas around?

-Not since Dean dragged him into his room. -Gabriel made a face showing what his theory of what they were doing inside was.-Why?

Sam knew that both his brother and Cas had always been close but he had never actually seen a piece of evidence signaling that they were sleeping together while being around them, and they had had more than enough time to prove it. He had been so sure by now everything was just platonic that receiving news of his brother taking Castiel into his bedroom had removed some things inside, he couldn’t help blushing and stood up to take a book back to the shelves just to try to hide the awkwardness a bit.

-Wow, ah, nothing. I just… wanted to ask him about a book.

-You seem uncomfortable ‘bout that.

-What? No, no. -Odd chuckles and more blushing

-There’s no reason for me to… to be uncomfortable.

-Well it is weird for me ‘cause it never came through my mind your brother was into guys as well, that would actually explain a couple of things.

The hunter eyed Gabriel, he was curious about what kind of things but was smart enough to understand that he probably wouldn’t like the answer considering he knew firsthand Gabriel had taken his brother along to certain adult inclined places before more than just once.

-And what about you? You also into both sexes?

Sam hesitated for a second and then leaned on the column by his side, focusing his attention on the archangel.

-Yeah, I am.

Gabriel only raised his eyebrows.

-Well color me surprised.

-What about you?

-Hellooo? Ex-Pagan God here? Would you even doubt for a second I’m more than willing on going down anyone hot enough?

-Would you go down on me?

Well look at that, the kid had grown a pair. Gabriel approached Sam with a sensual cadence on his posture, checking him up all the way from the bottom to the top. The hunter squirmed in self-aware while his ears and neck turned red.

-Guess there’s only one way to know.

Gabriel was leaning moodily over the table with a frown, arms crossed in front of him in dejection.

-What’s wrong brother?

-I’m all spent Cas, I’ve tried everything, everything, to make Dean happy. I’ve helped with a bunch of hunts, I’ve taken him to Vegas several times, the other week I signed him up in a vintage car race and after that I got him in the Playboy mansion. Heck, I even asked him if he wanted to be warped into another dimension as the protagonist of a hentai harem… refused that one, don’t really know why. But I still haven’t been able to make him happy at all.

-Well those do seem like activities that would make Dean happy, how do you know he wasn’t happy at all?

-He said he was hyped about the things we were doing but he looked like something was bothering him all the time. His true emotions are so hidden right now it fazes even me.

Castiel could tell the archangel was actually making an effort to get on Dean’s good side. He had been the only one not really on board when the archangel had shown up some months ago declaring he had intentions of living in the bunker since he, quoting: “was already fed up with dealing with other pagans” and “wasn’t feeling ready to go back to heaven and probably wouldn’t in like another three millennia”. But had to oblige after Sam’s stubbornness on having him tag along with the team won.

-Maybe you should read his mind.

-Mmmnah, not happening.

Castiel gave a confused look to his brother.

-I mean yeah, I could, and it would probably make things a lot easier but I don’t like doing it. Humans have only so much that belong to themselves, looking into their minds is just rude.

Castiel had to agree with his brother but that didn’t leave the question on how to get on Dean’s good side answered. Suddenly something occurred to the seraph.

-Why don’t you try making Sam happy? Dean’s face always shines when Sam’s does.

Gabriel sat balancing his chair on it’s back legs in a way impossible for a human being, eating his nougat bar and started to show one of his impish smiles.

-You know what Bluejay? Maybe you’re right.

Sam woke up with a knock on the door that made him rustle slightly. It wasn’t early but still he would have liked to sleep a bit more.

-Yeah?

The door swung open in a swift motion. -Mornin’ Sammy Boy! How’s the waking up doing?

-Ugh, it could be better if my sleep hadn’t been interrupted.

-Am I interrupting you now?

Sam only pressed his face against the pillow and softly groaned.

-Well then, I guess I’ll have to take this delicious 5 star hotel breakfast back to the kitchen…

Sam raised himself up enough to see the large silver platter on the angel’s hand. -Wait -Gabriel stopped midway from the door and turned back to him.

-Is that for me?

-Hmm…maybe.

-Whatever for? -Gabriel restarted his pace towards the hunter, who was now sitting on his bed.

-Well, I wouldn’t be able to hang around here if it weren’t for you. I just assumed it was the least I could do.

Gabriel snapped a pretty elegant looking bed table and placed the tray in front of the still sleepy hunter. Once the lid was taken away the waft of freshly ground black coffee and freshly baked pastries invaded his nostrils finally waking Sam up, a bowl of quinoa and spinach salad covered with sliced avocado, a half boiled egg and roasted cherry tomatoes in an arrangement worthy of a California hip place made his mouth salivate.

The first bite was like heaven, he had always craved this kind of stuff but it was impossible to make it without Dean complaining about money wasted on ‘conceited rabbit food’. In a matter of seconds he was devouring everything up while Gabriel sat with his legs crossed on a corner of the bed. Sam’s soul was content and all it had taken was a good breakfast to start the day with. Things were going smooth and if nothing odd happened, Gabriel might be able to achieve his goal in less time than expected.

-Man, I wish you did breakfast everyday.

-I can do that. But I’m not bringing it to bed all the time.

Sam’s ears went a shade of pink.

-That one was your idea. -He said, a bit conscious about the situation.

Gabriel noticed, of course he noticed, all the time since he had helped their asses out of the pagans hotel and teased Sam about his feelings towards him he had set an aside note on his brain about it. But chose not to say a thing.

-So, what’s the plan for today?

Sam eyed Gabriel with a hint for suspicion. -Nothing I guess, try to find a case.

-Then you’re basically free.

-Eh… -A snap of fingers cut anything Sam could have possibly said to answer.

Next moment, he was standing in a busy street somewhere. Sam of course would have never noticed but his pecs were nicely shaped behind the simple dark cotton shirt he was wearing right now and along the slim dark jeans, shiny pale blue blazer and the polished dark leather shoes he was quite a sight and every single girl and a guy from time to time turned around to look at him. Gabriel was also sharply dressed with dark blue jeans, trekking boots that had obviously never seen the side of a mountain and an aviator style olive jacket, soft hair neatly brushed at his sides.

Sam looked around nervously. -Where are we?

-In a place you’ve always wanted to be. -Gabriel motioned towards Sam’s back, nudging him to turn around. The white classical facade of the building was absolutely recognizable. He was at the entrance of The Smithsonian Museum.

It already was 9 p.m. when Gabriel appeared at the bunker once more with Sam. Sam was obviously still excited about the trip and the dinner at the vegan restaurant had made everything ten times better. They stopped right when they noticed Dean was just sitting on one of the library’s couches near them, beer on hand, sporting an inscrutable look. Both men stood still in front of him, like a pair of animals waiting to run away at the first alert.

-You left Sam’s phone on the bedroom.

-Whoops! Sorry, my bad.

-Where the hell have you been?

-Just went out to have fun, last time I checked it wasn’t a sin yet. And I should know about it.

Dean held the sides of his forehead with his free hand. Sam, who obviously realized Gabriel was just pushing all the wrong buttons chimed in.

-It’s fine Dean, Gabe took me to the Smithsonian. That museum I’ve always been wanting to go? It was really cool.

Dean turned to look at Sam and gave in, defeated. Something didn’t feel right about his reaction but Gabriel couldn’t pin it down. The older Winchester just sighed and motioned them that there was nothing more to say.

Sam just smiled nervously at him and waved a simple ‘Night’ at his brother before heading back to his own room. Gabriel noticed the tinge of worry about his brother in Sam’s profile but considering how far they had gone on improving his general mood he didn’t give it a second thought. What he couldn’t let go of right now was the feeling of having Dean’s eyes fixed on his back. He turned to face him, expecting an exasperated look but the hunter’s face was unreadable.

After minutes of maddening silence Gabriel was desperate for Dean to say something, anything. His eyes shouted it was right there, touching the surface. But the silence in the library was dense and suffocating and Dean finally looked away and leaned back on the couch returning the beer to his lips, pretending to be more interested in the row of books in front of him than what he’d ever be on Gabriel.

Gabriel vanished to his own bedroom and immediately threw a bunch of porn magazines from his desk onto the floor. Dean’s pretense of disinterest had hit him harder than what he would like to accept. He didn’t bother to pick the mess up.

Cas didn’t know how Sam had been cursed by the witch they killed a couple of hours ago but by the moment he noticed something was wrong and called Rowena, she proceeded to inform him of some dire news.

-I’m sorry dear, but he’ll go mad or worse if you don’t find a person to relieve him fast, the curse won’t allow him to do it himself.

-What!? Rowena we’re stranded in the middle of nowhere, there’s no chance for me to find anyone’s help to relieve him fast enough!

-And what’s the problem dearie? You’re still right by his side ain’t you?

Cas froze in his seat. -There’s no way I can—

-Castiel, you only have to help him relieve himself and the curse will thankfully be gone, using your hands should be a good start. Only do whatever he says and help him for as long as he asks you to, I figure you’ll be able to know when the spell is gone.

Castiel could have sworn he saw Rowena’s smile widening with each word that came out of her on the other side of the line. He would have replied something harsh to her if it weren’t for the drowned howl of pain Sam allowed out of himself, crouched over the wheel.

Hurriedly, Cas ended the call and went towards the hunter to find the lever between Sam’s legs and pull the seat as far back as he could. Once he had a bit of space to maneuver he held Sam’s head up as gently as he could.

-Sam, Sam! Can you hear me?

Sam just nodded, sweat droplets starting to show on his forehead, his breath uneven.

-This is the only way I can help you. Please forgive me.

The hunter only closed his eyes and moved his head slightly, Cas took it as a sign of consent and tasked himself with releasing his friend’s painfully hard cock from his jeans. What witch was mad enough to curse a guy with a spell that made him horny enough for it to be painful and immobilize him in the first place? When Cas thought he had seen everything there was always something showing up to blow his mind.

The moment Cas placed his hands around Sam’s dick and began to move them up and down Sam let out a loud sigh of relief and his breathe began to pace itself until it matched the motion of the seraphs hands. After the initial plunge into darkness due to the pain and only being able to faintly make out Castiel’s voice in the far distance, Sam was slowly regaining sense on his surroundings. Even after the pain started to recede, it took him quite some time to realize to whom the hands that were so skillfully sending him shivers of pleasure belonged. -Cas…

-Yes Sam, I’m here.

The angel was very close, he had made a hold on Sam’s neck to pull him closer and see if it was working. When Cas made an awkward movement on the seat to steady himself, Sam’s body fell over Cas. The moment his lips touched the angel’s veins close to his ear, Sam involuntarily opened his mouth. Cas, focused on providing help with his hands let out a gasp when he felt Sam’s teeth over him. Sam was grunting in pleasure and to Cas’s disbelief, he was starting to feel the arousal build within his own body.

Sam’s stranded voice began to repeat Cas’s name like a lifeline. After some more time Sam realized he was able to actually pronounce more words. Even when the content of them was not exactly what he had in mind, his body was still acting on his own accord.

-Cas… I can’t… This is… not enough…

Castiel panicked. -What? Why? What do you need?

-I need you…  I need your mouth.

Castiel felt a shiver go down his spine while Sam’s words slivered themselves through the tight space between his lips and the seraph’s ear. He turned to look at his friend but he looked like he still was too far gone. Against his better judgement, he got himself in a more comfortable position to bend over his friend’s cock. Holding it straight up, he began to lick softly around the head before closing his lips around it, suctioning and slowly going as far down as he could, using his hands on what he couldn’t reach.

Sam had slipped from the seat and fallen sideways over Castiel. Having a completely lifeless body, unable to caress the seraph’s head or pound against his mouth was driving him nuts. The only thing that kept him from madness was the soft warm wet inside of Castiel’s mouth around his dick. He was unsure if it was the spell or his own body’s natural reaction but everything Castiel was doing at that moment was getting him harder than ever.

-Faster Cas, please!

Cas obeyed, Sam’s aroused panting was getting the best of him. There had to be something wrong with him as well, he was an angel, he shouldn’t really feel aroused but still with every time Sam gasped his name he gradually felt his pants tightening up around his own cock. He kept on it for a while but to Sam’s frustration his release had not been triggered yet.

-Cas please… just… fuck me.

This time the words that had spurted out from his mouth belonged to him, streaming from pent up frustration. But he’d have never said them had he been completely aware of what he was really asking for to his friend. Cas stopped dead and turned to look at Sam, he was a complete mess, both of them were. Despite knowing what he had to do and how to do it, he knew that shouldn’t be happening. Still the fact that this curse was going to keep up until Sam was relieved stayed true. His wavering was stopped on its tracks when Sam left out a painful moan.

-Please Cas!

Cas immediately straightened himself up and maneuvered Sam to take off his jeans.

-Everything, Cas, take it all off.

Reticent, Cas did as ordered and undressed himself as well, more to be safe than sorry. Half reclined on the door, Sam was able to see the angel’s body on its full glory and felt a rush of heat spread from his gut. The angel had amazing thighs and biceps, all his muscles easily highlighted by the moonlight and between his legs a thick member that could fill all his desires. This had to be part of the spell, right? There was no way he would feel so eager to have Castiel inside of him.

Still, Castiel went down on him again. Seeing how docile he was towards Sam’s commands was something Sam didn’t know he could enjoy so much. After a moment, Cas took his fingers to his mouth and using a good amount of saliva he began to tease Sam’s ass, forcing the entry of the first finger and ripping a soft groan from Sam. He soon found the hunter’s prostate and began to caress it, increasing Sam’s panting and turning it to moaning. He went ceaselessly until three of his fingers had gone inside.

-Cas…

Sam didn’t have to say more, there was no way to misunderstand his soft plea. He lifted Sam’s legs and surrounded himself with them, using more saliva to lube himself he lined up and began to push softly, leaving a hand over the wheel for balance.

-This might still hurt a little.

Was all Castiel said before inserting himself completely in a quick motion on Sam. Sam threw his head back, giving out a loud moan along a sigh of relief. In the middle of quick panting, his hooded eyes fixed themselves on Cas and Cas began to move in a steady rhythm.

Sam finally noticed that he had begun to regain control over his body when he was able to hold the side of the seat with his fingers but he was still far from being completely independent. He decided to fix his sight on the angel in the meantime, hair all messed up, muscles in tension and eyes blown with lust…

Sam suddenly felt chills over his spine with the realization. Castiel was actually turned on by this, it wasn’t like he had forced his vessel to get hard. The hunter suddenly felt a new rush of lust flow over his body.

-You like this Cas?

The hunter’s voice was thick and full of intention. Castiel fixed his eyes on Sam’s, guilt flooding his expression. How could he answer Sam when he couldn’t think straight while looking how he was gasping for air with each thrust he gave into him.

-Answer me, Cas. Do you like this?

Sam’s dominant words left no room for sneaking out of giving a reply. Cas rasped his words out of himself.

-Yes, I… I like this.

-What do you like?

Cas pleaded Sam with his gaze, certainly the hunter didn’t want more details about this, right?

-Tell me, cas.

-I like… -Cas gulped, voice low and faltering -I like the way you say my name, I like to see you gasp for air, I… I like to feel you tight around me and fuck you hard.

Cas rested his head on Sam’s shoulder while confessing his thoughts, he was never gonna be able to look at Sam without this coming back to haunt him. It took him some time to realize that this heavy weight he felt over his heart was the same people felt when they sinned. He felt ashamed of himself, enjoying his friend’s body while he was in need of help. And yet, he couldn’t but keep on relentlessly, all the nerves of his very carnal vessel singing in bliss.

Sam, finally free of his magical restrains, moved his arms around Cas. Hanging hard to his low back with one hand and tangling the fingers of the other in the seraph’s hair, pressing himself against Cas, pushing him to fasten up the pace with his uneven gasps. Cas, feeling how he was being pressed closed his eyes tight and kissed Sam’s neck while the hunter gave away a noise of soft approval to the gesture, speeding up the movement of his hips. In an instant of weakness, Sam called Cas only to make him turn towards him and before the seraph was able to react he pulled him into a kiss that Castiel returned more than willingly.

Sam’s relief came in a mess of sweat and body fluids, letting go of Cas’s lips with a loud moan and screaming his name, eyes falling behind seeing stars, pressing his feet against Cas’s hips to keep him as deep as he could. Cas, unable to contain himself, poured himself completely inside Sam, feeling the spasm of his own dick throbbing against Sam’s tightness.

It took Cas quite some time to regain some sort of composure and keep his breath in check. He turned to Sam, worried about the fact he had been quite silent after everything ended.

-Sam?

Sam was sleeping contentedly, almost like none of that had happened and he was just having a nice dream. So this was what Rowena had meant about the fact he’d know when the spell had been lifted.

He then proceeded to clean each other with his grace and dress themselves up once more. That last part had been a bit more difficult but he managed. Finally, he stepped away from the car in order to accomodate Sam in a way that he could rest better and moved towards the back.

He didn’t really know what they were going to talk about after Sam woke up, all he could do was wait for the blow to land but in the meanwhile he would be able to see the hunter’s calm features, resting in a way he most likely hadn’t been able to in a long time.

At least one good thing had come out of this whole mess.

Kill it with Fire!

Having made a shockingly eventful return, Gabriel was now officially back from misery.   Sort of.  There were still multitudes things he was unable to do with such a fractional amount of grace.  Having to refrain himself from snapping up snacks was the one he hated the most; fortunately, he managed to convince Dean to stop at a gas station and buy him a stash on the way to the bunker.

Leaving aside the impending doom of a psycho alternate universe Michael, everything in life was just peachy.  Or, at least that’s what Gabriel had previously thought.

His convoluted thoughts were interrupted by Castiel.  “Every room has a sink. If you ever need to use it, hot water comes from the right handle. I already placed your towels in the left upper drawer, right below that one you have another blanket for the bed if you feel the need to lay down.”

“Okie dokie” managed Gabriel.

“Is there anything else you need to know?” Cas tilted his head in a questioning manner.

“I dunno…” he said, shrugging half-heartedly.  “When do we eat?”

Castiel aimed a quick glance at Gabriel.  The younger angel wasn’t sure whether his brother was just joking or so depleted of grace he actually felt hungry.  He hoped it was the first option; since the second one would imply a lot of worries.

“Sam and Dean generally have dinner around six while they’re here so it shouldn’t be long, I’ll ask them to call you.”

“Great. Thanks a million, Bluejay.”

“Anytime… and Gabriel?” intoned Cas.

Gabriel turned to meet his brother’s gaze.  “Welcome home.”

Castiel saw himself out of the room before Gabriel could say anything more; leaving the  archangel with an odd sensation brewing inside.  Now that he was alone, Gabriel let his haughty posture deflate and he collapsed onto the mattress with a sigh, arms crossed behind his head.

This is home now, huh?

He didn’t know how much time passed as he stayed in that position, but he eventually turned towards the desk. The strong wood turned into a delicate structure was identical to Sam’s, only placed in the opposite side of the room. A small notebook and pen were laying next to the lamp.  For a moment, he wondered for a second how much of the original owners had been left behind.  Gabriel’s wonderings quickly got the better of him; as he was curious to see if it really was a relic from the past, or just a gift from Castiel.  Like he actually needed to write anything down, he held more information in his brain than thirty supercomputers merged into one.

He reached out to grab it, but a swift movement behind the lamp caught his attention. Gabriel grabbed the lamp and picked it up, letting a spider with long legs the size of his hand run towards him.

He immediately dropped the lamp with a startled shout and ran towards the door, colliding with Dean in the middle of the hallway.   The two of them hit the floor in a tangled mess of limbs.

“-the hell!? Gabriel, what’s wrong!?”

Gabriel, who had attached himself to the hunter firmly impeding his movements, simply pointed towards his door.  As he makes that motion, Sam and Cas show up, footfalls thundering against the tile.

“Th-Th-Th-Th-There’s a spider in my room!”  His voice came out a bit higher than expected.

Both hunters froze, looking at Gabriel in disbelief.  On the other hand, Castiel moved forward and disappeared into Gabriel’s room, ready to find the menace.

“Kill it, Castiel! Kill it with fire!!!” Gabriel proclaimed, his pitch in voice showing earnest distress.

After some noises of moving furniture and scuffling, Castiel came out of the room with his hand closed in a loose fist.

“I’m not going to kill it. I’ll take it outside and see it stays there.”

Gabriel made a noise of discontent, and refused to release his death grip on Dean.  For good measure, he sent his best death glare at his brother’s fist when Castiel passed by them, the small offender in hand.  As Castiel disappeared around the corner, Gabriel felt the hunter suddenly tremble.

“Dean?”  And just like, that Dean exploded with laughter.

“Seriously Gabriel? Spiders?

Sam also began to snicker against his own judgement.  Gabriel just blushed wildly while finally releasing his hold on Dean.

“What!?  I hate spiders!  I hate them!  They’re evil!  Evil!  Even in Harry Potter, they’re evil!”

Sam joined Dean’s cackles, bending over and placing his hands on his knees to support himself, while Dean continued rolling over the floor with tears on his eyes.

“And just for the record,” Gabriel interjects,  “I would have killed it asap if it hadn’t caught me by surprise!”

Dean was now holding his side, panting desperately for air.  “Sure thing Cowboy, you’re a badass.”

Frustrated, Gabriel just stuck his tongue out against the brothers while retreating to his room and slamming the door. A minute later though, when their laughs were starting to recede, Gabriel opened it again sending them a sheepish look.

“What now?” said Dean.

“Can you check there’s no more spiders in the room?”

Dean and Sam made way into Gabriel’s room with smiles on their faces; it had been a while since they had laughed like that.

Gabriel understood to a point why hunting was so important to Dean, he loved violence in the most primordial kind of ways. And the healthiest way to be violent without technically committing a crime was killing monsters.

The problem with this was that it also meant that Gabriel always got left on the bench. And right now he was bored to Hell and back.

The guys had left towards an old area of the town where they had followed what apparently was a shapeshifter with a dash of serial killer as an aside.

Castiel had stayed watching out the entrance of an old dingy bar that according to knowledge was frequented by the monster and waiting for their call in case they had more luck.

And meanwhile Gabriel was strolling by a mock of a quarry nearby that someone might have dug ages ago with the intention of finding gold only to be sadly disappointed.

A twig snapping somewhere in the periphery made him turn his head. He could see the monster hidden behind the bushes just as well as if he had stood right in front of him, a normal human being would have never been able to tell at all.

Gabriel thought it was funny that the would be human was trying to predate on him until he remembered that he was concealing his power. It was a habit so ingrained in him after millennia of Trickster pretense that sometimes even Castiel would falter to remember his brother was an archangel considering his normal behaviour.

It would have been easy to smite the vermin right there but Dean would be extremely angry at him if he did. And he wanted Dean to be happy. Not angry.

This was probably the thought that made him take his next decision.

-Hello? -He approached an area around the bush. -Is anyone there? -In a flash, the monster was by his side, hitting him hard in the back. And Gabriel, well, he had to ‘pass out’ from the hit, right?

It was easy and rather fun to let himself be dragged by the monster adding a couple of dozen extra pounds to what would normally be his vessel’s weigh just to see if the monster thought there was something wrong. He didn’t. While apparently unconscious, Gabriel was hooded, bagged, tied up with duct tape and shoved unceremoniously into the back of a truck, the moment they got to their destination he was thrown into the cellar of a house.

He was starting to wonder how long he was supposed to ‘be unconscious’ when a bucket of iced water fell upon him. He reacted immediately.

-Wha…!? Where am I!? What is going on here!?

The view of the front wall that greeted him would have chilled any other persons blood. A set of shelves held the five missing heads. What gave him actual chills was the fact that all of these heads were from males resembling his features in an uncanny way.

The figure that came from his side view held the same face of the head at the topmost right, only around twenty years older.

-Who… Who are you!? Please let me out of here!

The man in front of him just smiled and made a go to a table filled with blades of different forms and shapes.

-I’m sorry, but you won’t come out alive.

The monster was about to touch him in order to take Gabriel’s looks when a soft noise upstairs alerted him of intruders in the house. The boys had arrived.

Gabriel was about to scream for help in the purest form of a scared to hell future murder victim but the monster placed the knife close to his neck.

-If you even dare think of screaming, I’ll make your painful death ten times worse.

Gabriel just nodded in apparent terror while thinking that if he had ever wondered who on Earth actually said such cheesy b-series lines he had an answer now.

He saw the man take the stairs up and the fight began a minute later. A loud crash, probably from a bookcase or shelf destroyed by one of the brother’s bodies sent away in a throw. More furniture crashing, a lamp, a chair maybe. Some more struggle, a gunshot, a groan, a thud and silence.

-Sammy you alright? -came the muffled voice from the ceiling.

-Yeah, you?

-Yeah, let’s get downstairs and see if there’s anyone living.

Sam came down first. And Gabriel would be damned if he hadn’t seen anything funnier in his life. He would have taken a Polaroid of that bitchface if he only hadn’t stayed properly tied up like a good victim.

-Heya Sammich. How’s it going? -His innocent, happy smile could’ve rivaled that of the cutest corgi. If he had had a tail he would’ve definitely had been wagging it like crazy.

Dean slammed the hotel room door open once they arrived back.

-Why are you still so angry at me!? Shouldn’t you be glad that no innocents were in danger?

-We thought there was an innocent person inside! What were you doing there in the first place? Are you out of your mind!?

Dean was screaming at Gabriel’s face now, which made him snap. He grabbed the hunter and pinned him on the wall thirty centimetres over the ground. Eyes flaring white blue just for a second.

-Don’t you dare even think of putting me in my place Dean. You might not like it when you get the backlash.

Before either hunter could say another thing, Gabriel was gone surrounded by the flap of his wings.

Maybe later, Big Boy

As the sun was setting it’s rays felt warmer and warmer, holding up to Dean’s skin, caressing him and telling him that despite the monsters outside everything was alright with the world. He was sitting low over the steps of a staircase, jacket in hand, letting every single fibre of his muscles thrive in the touch of the orb upfront.

-Is this your sunset? -Dean’s attention got caught up by a set of steps coming to a halt by his side. -Can I join in?

Dean looked up and smiled. -Like you’d ask for permission to do a thing.

Gabriel shrugged mindlessly but stood still until Dean gestured him to join. He sat two steps above him.

-I like it, it’s very warm. Just like you.

Dean looked back at the archangel from his low point to snap a silly retort and felt his breath falter. While in rest, Gabriel’s eyes were wide open, not a single trace of the squinting eyes from the mask of mischief he was so used to carry,  looking at the sunset like it was the very first time he had ever seen one. His irises wide enough to have people mistake him for someone far younger than what he was. Locks of hair reflecting rays of sunlight, glowing, and moving gently with the wind. There was not a single adjective Dean could think of using about the vision in front of him at the moment that wouldn’t subtly include the concept of angelical in it.

The archangel turned his eyes back at him, shining gold embraced by a ring of darkness that only made his gaze more magnetic.

-Something wrong Dean-o?

Before he even realized what he was doing, Dean had gone to grab Gabriel’s arm in a rush and woke up with a start.

The darkness of his bedroom held a huge contrast against the sunlight he had been witness to seconds ago. No sight of the archangel anywhere near.

Three days ago he had been sitting on that same bed with Gabriel, drinking a couple of beers and ranting about something stupid like whether it was too soon to consider Boku no Hero a classic or not. Dean had wanted to stay shut towards the bratty archangel but a knock on the door and a serving of Asgardian mead as a mild peace offering had done wonders on Gabriel’s favour.

Dean had been laughing so hard, like he hadn’t for such a long time. It had been so easy to get along with him, open up, talk about the things that neither Sam or Cas would understand. Which was the reason he had been so afraid of Cas letting him into his room, the idiot had already known where his most precious tapes and magazines were at.

But he was gone now. He would never walk into his room again.

Dean turned over to try and catch some more sleep, closing his eyes, trying hard to ignore the blurriness that suddenly covered the bright red numbers of his alarm clock. He didn’t know how long it took him but he finally fell back to sleep. And the dream came once more.

-Something wrong Dean-o?

Dean gulped in pain. Staring at the archangel, losing himself in his gaze. -You’re gone.

Gabriel smiled at him with an inquiring look, as if Dean had been saying nonsense -What are you talking about?

-You’re gone. You… you left us. Again. And this time I saw you die.

Tears began to stream on the hunter’s face.

-I saw you die.

Gabriel kept on smiling with his eyebrow shot up in wonder. Dean held his head down.

-This is just a dream.

-Is it a bad dream?

Dean felt himself drench in sadness.

-No…

-But?

-But it’s not real.

Silence fell between them for a while.

-If only… I just… I just wanted to talk with you more.

The archangel’s voice softened and rasped in response -Well… Maybe later, Big Boy.

The alarm clock jarred Dean up. There was no way of stopping his tears now.
